Returns and Refund Policy

In compliance with EU consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, Dave Ryan Photography has established the following Returns & Refunds Policy for all print purchases:

1. Right of Withdrawal

As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without providing any reason. This period begins the day after you receive your prints.

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal:

  • Customised or Personalised Prints: If the prints have been tailored to your specific requirements or personalised in any way, the right of withdrawal does not apply.

2. Exercising the Right of Withdrawal

To exercise your right of withdrawal:

  • Notification: Inform us of your decision to withdraw by sending a clear statement via the contact form. within the 14-day withdrawal period.
  • Return of Goods: You are required to return the prints in their original condition and packaging within 14 days of notifying us of your withdrawal. The direct costs of returning the prints will be your responsibility.

3. Refunds

Upon receipt and inspection of the returned prints:

  • Reimbursement: We will process your refund within 14 days, covering the full cost of the prints and standard delivery charges. If you opted for a more expensive delivery method, the additional cost will not be refunded.
  • Method of Refund: Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed upon.

4. Faulty or Damaged Prints

In accordance with EU law, all products come with a minimum two-year guarantee against faults or defects.

If your order arrives damaged or is defective:

  • Notification: Contact us within 14 days of receipt, providing clear photographic evidence of the damage or defect.
  • Resolution: We will offer a repair, replacement, or full refund (including shipping costs) at no additional expense to you. Return shipping costs for defective or incorrect items will be covered by Dave Ryan Photography.

5. How to Initiate a Return or Report an Issue

  • Contact Us: Via the contact form with your order number, details of the issue, and any supporting evidence (e.g., photos of damage).
  • Return Instructions: We will provide you with the necessary steps and return address to send back the prints.

6. Consumer Rights

This policy is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights as a consumer under EU law.
